The last 10 days

Just 10 more days to go of my 4 year stay at IIT....its been a memorable journey, something I shall cherish for the rest of my life. There have been ups and downs but in the end, what I have gained is way too much. My feeling right now is ineffable, am yet to come to terms with the fact that this journey is about to end, and in an abrupt way.

I had a lot of plans for this semester....had thought I would enjoy and cherish each moment of this semester without getting worried or taking up any undue commitments. But alas, the sem turned out to be exactly the opposite of this. I never got any time to enjoy myself and it ended up as being one of the most hectic sems for me, even though I hardly ever devoted any time to acads.

This past month has been a real pain for me....somehow I managed to do things which I wouldn't have even imagined myself. From getting an extension in BTP to getting so close to XX....and even getting 4 rejects....its been one of the worst times for me at IIT. Add to that the Valfi night outs and BTP coding...and I have fallen sick for the past one week.

All this nbd has managed to take my attention away from the fact that these are the precious few days left....this nbd has overshadowed everything. Now that BTP is done....valfi's over....and XX denied (hopefully)...I have got the time to relax and look back at these 4 years that flew by. Will post another article on this journey through 4 years....right now all I can say is....those were the best days of my life

My first ever blog!

Finally I get down to blogging. Have been pondering over this for quite a long time now. One of my friends kept paining me for starting a blog and this first post goes out to her. I am writing this blog as I had nothing else to do. I want to do so many things...its a nice pleasant evening and lakeside would be the best place to be right now. But alas, I don't have company and I am not a lone wanderer.

Looking at the brighter side, I finally got down to blogging. That's the kind of person I am....totally optimistic in life. I am also a complete chatter box...so I guess I will be blogging a lot.

Right now I am spending the last few days (43 to be precise) at IIT Bombay. What a journey its been! More on life@iitb in a separate post. These last few days are bothering me like hell as I hadn't taken my BTP (B.Tech Project) seriously and its in a bad state right now with just two weeks to go. If things go wrong, I could end up spending more time at IIT Bombay than those official 43 days. Should I be happy getting to spend more time here? Nah, 4 years is the ideal amount of time to be spending here. Life does get a bit monotonous after some time.

I like to explore new things. At first sight, lots of things excite me. But more often that not, I do not sustain that momentum. I guess this blog is also getting a bit too long now...so time to start something new ;-). Signing off for now.
